Best diet of 2010
The biggest problem with most Diets is that they are not sustainable. Even if you do lose weight at first, you usually end up gaining it back plus more.
The main dieting trick is that you need to burn more calories than you consume. With most diets you will cut you caloric intake drasticaly. And yes, you will lose weight.
For example: you normaly need to consume 2000 daily. When dieting you went on to consuming 1000 calories. As the result after a short period of time you lost 10 pounds. Great! Except that you did not really lose fat. What you lost is water weight and muscle mass. As the result of that your metabolism is slowed down and as soon as you go back to your normal eating habits you will gain all the weight back and some bonus weight.
A 1,000 calorie diet is not healthy nor sustainable. Most diets follow this unsustainable pattern and you end up in the roller-coaster….lose, gain, lose, gain…but you never get ahead. This is why we want to discuss the “healthy way” to lose weight.
